5 Day Intensive - Effortless Power - Matt Hill Systema, Devizes

The 5 day Intensive is running on the 15-19 Nov and will take place at the new Systema Academy in the heart of rural Wiltshire.

There will be the opportunity to stay at the Academy, traditional style on the mat (sleeping bag and mat provided), camping or if you have a camper van you can also use this.

This year’s theme is Effortless Power.

This is the goal of martial arts that aim to harness the power to control and prevail without having to dominate and damage.

Learn how to harness the power inside yourself that is ever present but gets blocked by our own tensions, ego and lack of awareness and sensitivity.

Over the course of the 5 day intensive we will have the time to delve deeply into the methods and tools to unlock this potential inside all of us.

Finding the origins of this power and allowing it to flow freely brings health, calm, peace and power to your movement, your life and application in martial arts.

*Spaces will be limited to 25 people.*

The aim is to cover the range of Systema work, including some outdoor and environmental training in Woods and fields (weather dependant).

The training area is private, bespoke and surrounded by nature.

There is an abundance of wildlife: deer, foxes, badgers, muntjac, owls and much more.

There is ample opportunity to rest, relax and rejuvenate.

This will be the first Intensive Seminar in the new location.

There may be a number of reasons for you to come to the seminar:

– To step away from the melee of daily life and escape to the peaceful and tranquil Wiltshire Countryside.

– To deepen your skills in Systema Combat.

– To explore the vast range of Systema health and wellbeing practices.

– To practice your skills in a variety of circumstances and terrains: Indoors, fields, woods.

– To commune and share the cameraderie of friends, old and new.

Accommodation:

There are several accommodation options.

There will be the possibility to sleep bed and breakfast at the Academy with shower and toilet facilities and two options of sleeping.
Camping with tents or hammock and tarp in the woods in the grounds
Sleeping on the mats in the academy.
Sleeping equipment provided.
