Matt is available to teach Seminars both in the UK and overseas. Matt will work with you to understand the needs of you and your club and develop a seminar theme that will meet these needs. At all seminars Matt strives to achieve the right environment for training and learning – one that is challenging, enjoyable and informative. Examples of themes that Matt has taught in the past are: Ukemi, Atemi, Kokyu, Balance, Awase, Connection, Riai and body movement. Woodlands Aikido Course - Sensei Matt Hill
- Take yourself back to basics in nature and to the wilderness roots of Iwama Aikido
- Learn to adapt your Aikido knowledge and techniques to a realistic and natural setting
- Work as a team to navigate and support each other at a mystery wilderness location
- Learn the fundamentals of wilderness living
- Share the camaraderie of others in a physically, mentally, spiritually and technically stretching experience
- Fees - £75 for the weekend including food
- NB this is NOT an endurance course, it is for all aikido/fitness levels and all ages. If you are interested in an endurance course let me know and this can be arranged ;-)

Iwama style Uchi Deshi Experience - Sensei Matt Hill
- Daily meditation session, 4 Aikido sessions and as much free training as you can handle per day
- Real uchi deshi experience: eat, sleep, train and work together in the house & grounds
